Metal silhouettes at 20 to 100 yards for percussion rifles with a separate match for flintlock rifles. Also matches for trade guns (flintlock, no rear sight, smoothbore) with targets at 20 to 60 yards. More matches for muzzleloading pistols. Targets must be knocked down to score as a hit. Shooting is done from a 20-station covered range with a heated area. WSMA medals awarded for all classes in all events.

Camping Fee $5 per night, RV hook up $10 per night

To find Evergreen Sportsman’s Club (12736 Marksman Road SW, Olympia, WA. 98512, 360-357-9080) take Exit 95 from Interstate 5 and go west four miles to Littlerock. Go straight through Littlerock to Mima Road. Turn left and head south for 1.2 miles to Bordeaux Road. Turn to the west again and go only 6/10s of a mile to turn right on Marksman Road. That will lead you straight into the sportsman’s club. The Silhouette Championships are held on the “High Power Range.” Sign-up and registration are done right on the range.
