These events include a silhouette match for rifle, pistol, and trade guns, a shotgun shoot including black powder cartridge, caplock, and flintlock; trade gun shoot with categories for trade guns without a rear site and with a rear site; formal rifle shoot, and primitive aggregate including rifle, pistol, trade gun, and tomahawk and knife. Most of these events have categories for men, women, seniors, and juniors. Some also include special categories for pee wees and a hunters class where inlines are allowed. WSMA provides up to 24 medals at no cost to member organizations based on submitted events. To apply for event sanction and medals, complete and return this form.

Women's Primitive Skills Event - WSMA helps promote this yearly event. The Women's Primitive Skills Event started in 2000.
