The WSMA Sanctions Events that are held though out the year, those events are open to any muzzleloader
that is legal to hunt with during the General Washington State Muzzleloader Season with the exception
to caliber, projectile and grains of powder used. That is up to the Events Booshway and the hosting event
organization/club.
Any organization/club is welcome to apply to host a sanctioned muzzleloading event. Applications to host
a sanctioned WSMA event is required to be submitted to the WSMA no later than December 1st.
Applications will be reviewed by the WSMA Council for approval. Events Booshway shall arrange for
and/or supervise the conduct of all rendezvous and/or shooting matches sanctioned by the WSMA.
The Events Booshway may appoint anyone to handle specific functions connected with the sanctioned
rendezvous and/or shooting matches as he finds necessary. There is no associated fee for hosting a WSMA
event. WSMA Sanctioned Event Medals are available for sanctioned events. Up to 24 medals will be
provided to sanctioned events at no cost to hosting Organizations. Additional medals available at a
cost of $3.50 each.
